Improve your Windsurfing in Essaouira
The Essaouira Windsurfing Academy is a mobile school with bases in Essaouira, Sidi Kaouki and Moulay Bouzerktoun. The windsurfing clinic programme has been developed according to the VDWS (International Windsurfing Organization) standards and guidelines. The clinics provide private 1-on-1 coaching aimed at taking your windsurfing to the next level.

Full INTERMEDIATE/Improver Windsurfing clinic Essaouira:
10 hour clinic, usually 5 sessions of 2 hours. This clinic is designed to help you achieve your next personal level and covers some of the trickier aspects of windsurfing that require professional coaching.
Entry requirement
This course is aimed at those who have done some sailing in the past (minimum 30 hours) and need a recap of the basics or those who have completed a beginner course and want to take the next step. You need to understand and be able to demonstrate board control, basic steering, tacking and upwind sailing. Once you've successfully completed this clinic you are able to rent equipment and strike out on your own.
Goal
The aim here is to teach you the fast tack, jibe, the secret to a successful beachstart and to give you an introduction to the harness.

Once you have achieved this level of competance, you can rent equipment to practice on your own! (Please note that your intermediate or advanced clinic package includes 3 days equipment rental).
Remember that windsurfing is progressive and depending upon your ability/aptitude to learn, stamina and weather/wind conditions you may cover some but not all of topics outlined above during this clinic.

ADVANCED Windsurfing clinic Essaouira:
The advanced clinic is a total of 6 hours usually split into three 2 hour sessions. The advanced clinics are private, 1-on-1 sessions and the aim is to help you attain your next personal level at your own pace. The instructors will guide you, giving you professional advice, error correction and style tips.
Entry requirement
This course is aimed at those who already have basic windsurfing skills. You need to demonstrate board control, basic steering, tacking and upwind sailing.
You and your windsurfing instructor will determine the lesson-content based on your current abilities and your personal sailing goals.
Key skills
As mentioned above this depends on your current abilities and your personal sailing goals. However the clinics can cover anything and everything from the Water start, Fast tack and Power Gybe to Jumping, wave riding and freestyle moves.

To help you to adjust to different situations and correct your mistakes. To help you attain your personal windsurfing goals and ultimately to have more fun out on the water.
