We offer equipment rental for kitesurfing, windsurfing and surfing in Essaouira and there are various possibilities and combinations available.
Renting rules
For obvious safety reasons, to rent equipment, you need to be totally independant in and on the water. You will be assessed to ensure you have sufficient skill to rent.
Safety
Your safety is our prime concern, the Essaouira Surf/Windsurf/Kitesurf Academy offer a low student-to-teacher ratio and the have a rescue vehicle at their disposal at all times. The center has the latest safety systems as well as helmets and life vests.
Zoco Wind Pass
If conditions are too poor to windsurf or kitesurf you can make use of your wind pass to exchange your windsurfing or kitesurfing rental against another activity we offer. (surf class, horse riding, camel riding, sea kayaking,…).

Windsurfing Equipment rental - Intermediate & Advanced clinics
For those of you on a Windsurf Clinic we provide equipment rental that matches your ability. This includes 3 days rental for Intermediate/improver windsurfers and 1 week rental for advanced clinic participants. You can pre-book the board of your choice and the possibility to test the other boards of in the FANATIC range. Also included in the rental package is wetsuit, harness & harness lines. You also have full access to the whole range of NEILPRYDE Rigs and can change as many times as needed.
Windsurfing Equipment rental for Advanced Windsurfers
We also offer Accommodation + equipment rental packages for experienced windsurfers. You need to be totally independant on the water and will be tested, if you have an VDWS certification, bring it along. You will also be able to change sails to suit the weather forecast and can change as many times as needed. You will have full access to the the NEILPRYDE sail pool.

KITESURFING Equipment rental - intermediate & Advanced clinics
For those of you on a kitesurfing clinic we provide equipment rental that matches your ability. This includes 3 days rental for Intermediate/improver kitesurfers and 1 week rental for advanced clinic participants. You have access to the full FANATIC Kiteboarding range. Also included in the rental package is wetsuit, harness, helmet and life jacket.
Kitesurfing Equipment rental for Advanced Kiteboarders
We also offer Accommodation + equipment rental packages for experienced kiteboarders. You need to be totally independant on the water and will be tested, if you have an IKO card and certification, bring it along. You will also be able to change kite sizes to suit the weather forecast and can change as many times as needed. You will have full access to the the CABRINHA Swithchblade kite pool from 4 to 14 m².

For those of you following the Learn-2-surf course we provide equipment rental that matches your ability. Once you've completed your surf course you'll be able to rent equipment and practise on your own. Your instructor will be able to advise you on which board is best for you and all rentals include wetsuit.

G'boards
G Boards originated from Australia and are the bee's knees when it comes to soft boards. If you want a soft board for safety but want a product that performs like a fibreglass surfboard, then the G board range is the way to go. This is a quality product with twin composite stringers and fully closed cell slick skinned bottom. They are quite stiff for a soft board and will not soak up water if damaged. They have high density urethane foam on the rails of the board. This provides a firm surface for surfing and a soft forgiving surface when it hits you on the noggin ;-).
New surf project (NSP) Boards
NSP are good boards for advancing beginners and great fun for intermediates.
Both the Shortboards and longboards are built to withstand the trials and trbulations of the recreational surfer and these 'E2' epoxy boards are designed to deliver performance with maximum sturdiness.
The modern shapes, durability and sturdy construction mean they deliver the performance necessary for beginners and intermediates to progress on.
