Learn to windsurf in one of the world's best windsurfing spots. This is the venue for the annual Windsurfing World Cup and it's easy to see why: Miles of open beach and steady, consistent wind. There is a waist deep kite-lagoon with flat water ideal for learning to windsurf.
Who's it for?
The aim of the windsurfing beginners course is to give people a safe and fun introduction to windsurfing. At the end of the sessions you will have learned the fundamentals and taken your first steps into the world of windsurfing. Depending on your level of ability and fitness you may cover the following topics during your 1 week course: basic knowlegde of the equipment, starting, board control, steering and tacking. You will then go on to learning the fast tack, jibe, the beach start and get an introduction to the harness. There are four possibilities for your windsurfing holiday accommodation:

YOUR 1 WEEK Learn-2-Windsurf PACKAGE INCLUDES
• Location: Sotavento/Jandia, Fuerteventura South, Canary Islands, Spain
• Airport: Puerto del Rosario, Fuerteventura (FUE/GCFV)
• Transfer Time from Airport: 50 Minutes
• Join a Course: Mon. to Sun
• Course Duration: 4 or 5 days (10 hrs)
• Course Start Time: To be advised on ground, wind dependant
• Course location: In shallow lagoon in front of the windsurfing center.

DATES & AVAILABILITY 2008
The Learn-2-windsurf holidays run all year round and the courses are also run on a continual basis. The instructors are ALL VDWS (International Windsurfing Association) qualified & the windsurfing centre is a recognized and approved by the VDWS. The windsurfing license we issue is internationally valid.
OTHER WINDSURFING COURSES
