CORRALEJO - FUERTEVENTURA NORTH

Windsurfing in the north of Fuerteventura takes place near the resort of Corralejo. The wind is predominantly cross-shore and the Windsurfing takes place on a 6-7 km stretch of beach with fine white sand. The best months for advanced or pro Windsurfers are March to November. SOTAVENTO - FUERTEVENTURA SOUTH

Most of the southern region of the island is a protected area meaning that tourism has not destroyed the very beauty that attracts visitors in the first place. The south coast is a long stretch of outstanding white beaches known as Playa de Sotavento de Jandia. Miles upon miles of sandy paradise. Sotavento lies directly in a wind excelleration zone and in summer the winds can reach speeds of up to 9 Bft.(45 knots), great news for windsurfers.
