SURFING IN EL PALMAR & CONIL DE LA FRONTERA, CÁDIZ
The Surf School is based in El Palmar & Conil de la Frontera on the Costa de la Luz (Southern Spain's Atlantic Ocean Coastline). The Surf School is mobile and you will surf at the location that has the best waves on the day. Wind, swell and the ability of the group are all taken into account when deciding on a location. The surf school is perfectly located for enjoying the warm weather (Andalucia gets 3000 hours of sunshine per year and even in mid winter weeks can go by without a single cloud in the sky!) but, more Andalucía receives consistent Atlantic swells. El palmar is an ideal location for people who want to learn to surf in a fun, relaxed atmosphere with plenty of sun.
Surf Camp
Whatever your level, you never stop learning. The surf instructors at the Surf Camp in El Palmar can teach you how to surf or give you professional advice and tips on improving your style. Surfing here is excellent as you really can surf amazing waves during the week with only with a handful of surfers in the water and the locals are friendly and laid back. This is an oportunity to meet interesting people from all over the world and share the addiction of a lifetime with people just as passionate about surfing as you are.
Accommodation
The surf camp accommodation is located in Conil de la Frontera and El Palmar. The accommodation is shared with no more than 5 guests per apartment. For a small supplement you can reserve a private apartment. For more information please see: Surf camp apartments.

DATES & AVAILABILITY
The El Palmar Surf Camps, Surf Clinics and Guided Surfing holidays run all year round and places are subject to availability.
This coast receives enough swell all year round for beginners, however for advanced and experienced surfers we recommend the period from the beginning of winter to early spring. (October to April)
The 1 week camps usually run from Sunday to Sunday while the long weekend (3 nights) camps run from Thursday to Sunday.
Please note: Although the surf camps run on fixed start and finish dates, we are flexible with dates and packages and can tailor a camp to suit your dates.
