Yzerfontein is the first stop (conditions permitting) this is a sleepy little fishing village wich offers a powerfull and very hollow beachbreak for advanced surfers and a mellow beachbreak around the corner for beginners. This is just a surf stop and not an overnight stay. Next stop is Elands Bay, home to one of South Africa's most perfect left hand point breaks, this is a really fantastic wave and is well suited to intermediates and advanced surfers. The length of ride averages around 250 metres. We base ourselves at the Elands Bay Guesthouse for the trip and to day missions out to the other spots in the area if the surf is not going off at the point. The region between Elands Bay and Lamberts Bay is loaded with quality waves and you can surf excellent beachbreaks, powerfull reef breaks and point breaks.
There is no shortage of waves along the west coast, the focus of this trip is to surf! If the surf is flat we can go quad biking, sand boarding, take a cultural tour to the Khoi San caves or fishing (great fishing in the area). It also get's very hot and dry up this coast and is definitely not at all lush like the East Coast, the surf is excellent and there are no crowds (except at E-Bay) For this reason we only recommend this trip to people who can surf and want to focus on surfing, surfing and more surfing.
