The Cape Peninsula Surfari offers you two levels of accommodation. Backpackers (hostel style) or Bed & Breakfast accommodation.
We have sourced suitable surfing accommodation in Muizenberg, St James and Kalk Bay our Surfari and Surfing tour guests will stay at one of the three B&B or Backpackers options described below. Placement depends on availbility and is at our discretion. All the accommodation is to a high standard and offers similar quality and services. All the accommodation is located close to the surf base.

MUIZENBERG GUESTHOUSE/B&B ACCOMMODATION

The Guesthouse/B&B is located on the slopes of Muizenberg Mountain, halfway between Table Mountain and Cape Point, and is the ideal getaway from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. A Full South African breakfast, included in your surfari package and your hosts can serve lunch or dinner on prior arrangement. They also offer great picnic lunches which you can take along on your surfari, less time in search of food = more time in the water ;-).

Backpackers Accommodation in Muizenberg

Historic and grand old building at Surfers Corner - spectacular views of False Bay- en route to Cape Point and many other wonderful attractions in the Peninsula. Situated slapbang on the beachfront, see only waves, mountains & surfers in front of you or whales & dolphins in the winter season. Most of the rooms are situated on the top level - 7 with spectacular views of False Bay with surrounding Mountains wrapping themselves around the edges of the ocean and the white sea horses charging at the shore together with the many surfers who are always out there riding them!
All rooms have shiny wooden floors and are clean, tidy and bright and some rooms have their own balcony to enjoy the breathtaking views. The separate showers for Ladies and Gents are just down the corridor
There is a communal TV lounge ( with DSTV ) where one can watch a choice of movies/ or news broadcasts from different countries or simply switch off and relax reading or chatting with fellow travellers
The Dining area is bright and spacious.
There is a recreational pool table as well as a limited amount of equipment in the Gym i.e weights, muscle craft bench, Orbitrek & punch bag . These are all situated on the first level - work out whilst breathing clean air and looking straight out to sea.

Area has many surf shops as well as a variety of restaurants. Within walking distance to Zandvlei for picnics, boating & where the international kite Festival takes place.
Stroll along the promenade & visit the supertubes, putt-putt & Sunday flea market. Just along the coast is colourful Kalk Bay (fishing village & harbour) with antique, art, & ceramic shops plus an array of restaurants - a bit further on is historical Simons Town & the Jackass Penguins at Boulders Beach. 20mins from Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens & Constantia Wine Route´s well known wine estates. Newlands Rugby Stadium is also accessible from the motorway within minutes. Cape Town is within 30mins & in the opposite direction is Cape Point with it´s spectacular views.

This Travellers Lodge offers budget accommodation in a newly renovated historical building built in the early 1900s. Situated in the heart of Kalk Bay opposite South Africa's smallest harbour.
Close to all major tourist attractions as well as to some of the most famous restaurants and pubs of the Cape Peninsula.
Each Room is individually decorated, all rooms are serviced and have double beds with cupboards. They all open onto large patios which overlook the harbour - stunning views! Your hosts speak Afrikaans, English, Italian, Xhosa and Zulu.
