Mossel Bay Backpackers is a Hostel at The Point in Mossel Bay, 300m from the beachfront and within 1km from all major attractions, incl. Bartolomeu Dias Museum, Old Post Office Tree, Shark Cage Diving, Whales, fishing & surfing.
The Backpackers is at The Point, walking distance (300-500m) to beaches, Inner & Outer Pool (surf spots), St Blaize Lighthouse, St Blaize trail, the harbour and most attractions in Mossel Bay. It is also in close proximity to a wide variety of shops and restaurants. There are a number of famous tourist landmarks in the area, such as the Bartolomeu Dias Museum and Old Post Office Tree. See whales, dolphins and seals go cage diving with great white sharks or on a Game drive. All major highways and main roads are easily accessible from Mossel Bay.

Wilderness Backpackers set on an old rambling farm surrounded by Wilderness National Park, on the bend of the Touws river. This 1874 Homestead is jam-packed with character and old fashioned delights. It is enveloped by a veranda overlooking the Touws river, the perfect spot for sunrises and sundowners, whilst admiring the indigenous wildlife. The perfect place to CHILL OUT. The property is close to the start of some wonderful hiking trails and waterfalls wherever elusive and legendary leopards lurk. Overlooking the sparkling lakes of the Wilderness National Park and the Touws River and surrounded by forest, bird song and soothing nature, this is the oldest homestead in Wilderness.
Wilderness is a small village situated on the Garden Route and is unique by being the only inhabitation in South Africa to be located within a National Park. The Indian ocean washes 27km of beautiful sandy beaches to the South and the Outeniqua Mountain range dominates the skyline to the North. All you need is within walking distance, including beautiful waterfalls, pubs, beaches, shops, restaurants and the authentic steamtrain.

Plettenberg Bay Backpackers is situated in the absolutely best spot in Plett. Nothing can beat our stunning views from the balcony where dolphins and whales are often spotted cruising the beautiful bay of Plettenberg Bay.
Every night at the backpackers is bonfire night. There are braai (BBQ) facilities where you can learn to master the art of traditional outdoor cooking. The television room (with satellite TV for the sport addicts), bar and pool table are located away from the sleeping areas.
For cyber geeks, the Backpackers has its own internet café with a fast ADSL connection,WIFI, VOIP, Webcams and much more.
The beach, shops, restaurants and nightlife are all within easy walking distance. The friendly staff are on hand to offer you information on activities in the area and to assist you with bookings. A shuttle service is available for transport to the various activities.

Perched on a dune with a 270º view of the Indian Ocean, this sea circled Eden has the perfect setting for any travelling surfer.
Aloe framed views from our wooden decks overlook surf and sand, and are ideal for all year whale and dolphin watching. Excellent surf spots on the doorstep so as the swell pulls in you'll hear the crash of the surf from your bed. All rooms have a sea view, all doubles are en-suite. The backpackers has a fully equipped self-catering kitchen plus an awesome outdoor restaurant serving breakfasts, lunches and dinners. A fully licensed bar with daily happy hour, weekly theme nights, and crazy parties.
The Backpackers is located at Phantom's corner and Kitchen Windows, two surf spots enjoyed by beginner and pro. For those who NEED to surf other main spots like Supertubes or Seal Point, the "Vibe Van" is always ready to offer you a lift. Supers can also be reached via a leisurely stroll on the beach (or by putting the thumb out). The "Vibe Van" never seems to stop buzzing up and down, so there's always a lift to or from somewhere to anywhere.
