SANDBOARDING
There are excellent locations for sandboarding along the route from Cape Town to J-Bay. The constantly shifting dunes form fun downhill runs and exhilarating jumps. This is a great activity for all levels.
LESSONS
Your guide will get you started on the gentler slopes. From here you progress at your own pace until you’re ready to conquer the bigger dunes. You will learn basic board riding and safety techniques.

Bungy Jumping
Bloukrans Jump – the world's highest
This is the ultimate thrill! Recognised by the Guinness World Records as the highest commercially operated Bungy Jump in the world. You will be secured in a full body harness and proceed to walk along a specially designed catwalk (216m long), which is suspended beneath the road surface, which will then lead you to the top of the arch - 216 meters above the Bloukrans River. Here you will be given final instructions by highly experienced staff, a countdown and off you go! Bloukrans utilizes pendulum bungy technology ensuring you the smoothest, most comfortable bungy jump possible.

Flying Fox
This is the NEWEST adventure at Bloukrans! A 200m cable slide ('foofie slide' for South Africans) out onto the archway of the bridge! The quickest way to get to your bungy jump destination. But if the bungy is not for you – this is a great alternative adrenalin rush all on its own. Do it by yourself or a tandem with a friend or partner. This is a great option for groups and families.

GAME PARKS & GAME VIEWING
KNYSNA ELEPHANT PARK
Get up-close-and-personal with nature at the Knysna Elephant Park. Learn about the sad and mystical story of the Knysna Elephants – the world’s Southern most elephants. The park offers a rare and exciting opportunity to get close to these gentle giants, who live in a controlled, free range environment in the heart of the famous Garden Route in South Africa.
Daily tours from 8.30 to 16.30 from visitor's centre. Guests are transported to the elephants in an open game viewing vehicle where they will have the opportunity to touch, feed and photograph the Elephants. There are no barriers or fences to spoil the close encounter.
Duration: 45min to 1 hour but guests can stay as long as they wish.

MONKEYLAND
16km East of Plettenberg Bay is Monkeyland, the world's first sanctuary for multi-specie free-roaming monkeys.
At Monkeyland, previous caged monkeys from several continents are rehabilitated and released in a 12 hectare forest and visitors are able to view them by being taken on monkey safaris by game rangers.
