CHILL OR THRILL?
This is the dilema facing you after a hard days surfing and sun. Do you get yourself motivated for a night out on the town or do you just kick back at the house drink a few beers and exchange surf stories with the other guests?
SURF HOUSE / SURF CAMP
You can Chill in the back yard or in the evening stroll down to the beach to either quietly watch the sunset, or to enjoy a meal in a local beachfront restaurant where the shellfish and fish dishes are excellent and go well with a good Portuguese wine! In the summer theres always a small sunset party going on in one of the beaches near the Surf camp. At the Surf House the BBQ ash doesnt have a moment to cool down, a couple of local beers, a bit of music and epic BBQ party is set to go! If you're more of a party animal you shouldn't miss the late afternoon partys going on at the Tonel beach bar, just a few minutes walk from the Surf House. Saterdays everyone heads down to Café/Bar Dromedário for the weekly surf party, this bar also has special rates for surfers staying at the surf house so check it out.

SAGRES NIGHTLIFE
Sagres has a fairly good nightlife and there area couple of bars and restaurants worth a mention, the best of the many nightspots in the town's historic core include the Columbus Bar and the A Rosa dos Ventos Bar on Praça da República these are popular amongst young tourists and travelling surfers. The trendy Café/Bar Dromedário on Rua Comandante Meteoso, (see above) is a great place to hangout with other surfers from around the world. Take it easy though, surfing and hangovers are a nasty combo. Also if you travelling with your laptop you can get free wi-fi internet connection in Bubble´s Bar which is a few minutes walk from the surf house. Large screen showing surf movies, excellent food, smoothies & coffee. Great atmosphere in the evening.

The main attraction of eating out in Sagres has to be the seafood, and there are restaurants to suit all tastes and budgets. The Rosa dos Ventos on Praça da República is a great breakfast spot while the Restaurant Conchinha also on Praça da República has a fairly good seafood menu. The Vila Velha Restaurant on Rua Infante D. Henrique is small and cosy with a very creative chef offering an imaginative array of dishes. It is expensive but you get what you pay for.
