Portugal has it all. Quality and consistent waves from heaving, spitting barrels like Pedra Branca or long seemingly endless walling point breaks like Coxos and world class beach breaks like Supertubos. Big wave chargers can head for Arrifana or Nazaré and newbie and beginner surfers can head for one of the many surf camps offering excellent surf at the literally hundreds of beaches and coves littered along the coast. In the North and South there are still many unexplored and hidden spots to be surfed.
