SURFARI + SURF CAMP - ACCOMMODATION GUIDE

In order to make the Monday morning 8 o’clock departure, guests arriving on Sunday usually stay one night at the Hotel Paulista in the city centre Porto. The Aerobus from the airport stops at the busstop in front of the hotel it's about a 45 minutes drive.

While on surfari and travelling down the coast, you'll sleep in tents and be camping in forests, behind dunes and on beaches. Once you reach Bordeira, you'll be staying in roomy 2 persons luxury caravans with shower, kitchen and toilet.

Your Surfari + Surf Camp package includes free drop off at Faro airport on Saturday’s at 14:00. However, you may want to stay overnight in Lagos, in which case, we can arrange accommodation for you at a Backpackers hostel in the center of Lagos.

We can (on request) arrange a return transfer to Porto or Lisbon. If your transfer is from Porto and your flight leaves on Sunday, you will need another night in the Hotel Paulista in Porto.

The Hotel Paulista in Porto

The hotel Paulista is a great hotel, it's tidy, the staff are efficient and friendly and they have an english speaking reception.

Description
All the rooms have ensuite bathroom and television as well as coffee making facilities. Breakfast is included in the room price.

Location
The hotel is located around 800 meters from the surfari pick up point, halfway across the Praça da Liberdade, just past the Mc Donalds. As mentioned earlier the Aerobus from the airport stops right outside the hotel.

Tent Accommodation

Once on the road, accommodation is in roomy 2 persons dome tents with good quality matresses.

Description & Location
Forget the luxury of your own bed and 'civilization' for the next few days, no bars, disco’s or TV. On the road you'll be camping in wild and idylic spots along the Portuguese coast in your dome tents. The surf crew take care of everything and all you need to do is enjoy the Portuguese countryside, experience the culture and surf 'till your muscles ache.

Surf Camp Accommodation in Bordeira

Here you'll be staying in luxury 2 persons caravans with shower, kitchen and toilet. Breakfast is included every morning as well as lunch. From the base camp you get daily transfers to the nearby beaches and surf spots.

Description & Location
The surf camp is located behind a small village in a natural valley on the South west coast of Portugal. A special place where you have excellent access to all the surf spots of the Algarve coast.

The Surf Camp is surrounded by sea of green... Plants, flowers, trees and wild grasses as far as the eye can see. This area is a nature reserve and here birds of prey, wild pigs and even the odd lynx still roam wild.

BACKPACKERS Hostel Accommodation in Lagos
