Yoga is based on an old philosophic system which originated in India. Literally, yoga means "union", a path of self-knowledge, balance of body and mind, physical and spiritual health, and communion between the individual and the universe.
In its simple way it strengthens the physical body, develops our flexibility and helps us develop a profound, relaxing state of tranquility, concentration and inner awareness.

BHAKTI YOGA
This style of yoga named after teachings of Sri Swami Vishwananda, is a style of yoga in which the training focuses on a new approach on yoga where even sounds are introduced to reach a deeper awareness, meditation and connection with our true Self. With the practice of our yoga we aim to introduce a new and authentic awareness that allows us to reach a perspective of our role in this present moment.

THE YOGA CLASSES
Each class runs between 60 to 90 minutes and is usually comprised of a series of exercises aiming to awaken a deeper state of awareness in our selves.
The classes begin with breathing awareness, we learn to feel the breath, feel the diaphragm move in our body and relax to allow the breathing process to happen naturally, it continues with the yoga physical exercises that are called asanas*, and ends in a deep relaxation sound therapy.
During the week the practice of yoga in our relaxing environment will enable you to learn different techniques that will increase your energy and bring an extraordinary balance to your life. We look forward to seeing you soon.
*There are as many as 8,400,000 Asanas, the 12 basic postures include:
1. Headstand (Sirshasana)
2. Shoulderstand (Sarvangasana)
3. Plough (Halasana)
4. Fish (Matsyasana)

Sri Swami Vishwananda
Sri Swami Vishwananda is a spiritual Master from the island of Mauritius. He is dedicated to the spiritual upliftment of people of all religions and cultures in order to bring them to Self-realization, which is to realize the Divine within.
"We are all brothers and sisters and come from the same God. Our true identity, hidden behind our emotions and thoughts of daily life, is our soul, our own true Self. To achieve outer unity with all our brothers and sisters, we have to achieve unity within, between body, mind and soul. We have to accept and love ourselves the way we are now, with our physical body, emotions and thoughts and at the same time strive for the Soul. Mankind needs to remember that all people come from the same source and all will go back to the same source."
