Tamraght SURF camp - SURFING HOLIDAY ACCOMMODATION

The Tamraght surf house is situated in the small, traditional village (village is an exaggeration, it's more like a settlement) just 25 minutes drive from Agadir. The best Moroccan surf spots are only a few minutes away by car. The surf house is well known in the surfing community and travelling surfers from all over the world spend time here. The atmosphere is laid back and friendly and the food is incredible! I'm guessing that the cooking is, at least, part of the reason surfers keep coming back here ;-).

The surf house faces directly onto Devils point and Panoramas beach, a quick look from the roof terrace will be more than enough to indicate the surf conditions for the day and which spots will be working. Banana Point and the beach are a 10 minute walk down a dusty dirt track in front of the property, the beach bar is open all day for drinks, lunch and snacks and the beach is equipped with toilets and showers. Secure board storage for surf house guests.

Cheap and cheerful accomodation close to the surf and great for swimming and fishing. The property has 10 rooms split up into two traditional houses, 4 bathrooms with toilets and showers (with hot water) and two beautiful terraces with a wonderful views. The large covered roof terrace is where you will be served your meals and is where everyone chills after the surf. There is a TV, DVD player and Wireless internet access available here.

The rooms all lead off of an internal Moroccan courtyard with sofas and each room in the Guest House is clean, secure and traditionally decorated.

Local Services and amenities (TAMRAGHT SURF CAMP)

As we mentioned above, Tamraght is a small settlement and there is not much here in the way of shops and services. There is an internet point and a very basic shop. However just 5 minutes down the hill, the amazigh town of Aourir has:

• Pharmacy
• Internet cafe
• Modern supermarket
• Bakery
• Fresh fruit and vegetables available at village market (Bananas are a must!)

Excursions & adventure trips

We can also arrange day trips to cities like Essaouira (beautiful Fort) or take you swimming at the Immouzer waterfalls or arrange a day trip to Goulimine in the South. For the more active guests we offer Horseback riding, sailing or a chance to discovery of the Moroccan Anti Atlas by quad, 4 WD or even by camel!
