AGadir HOTEL

Beach: Agadir Beach | Town: Agadir | Region: Central Morocco

The Agadir hotel has simple but comfortable rooms, good food and a great location. The hotel is situated in the tourist district just 500m from the Agadir's sandy beach and 10 minutes walk from the center of Agadir. There are plenty of places to walk to nearby including restaurants and cafes and its very cheap to take a taxi down to the centre of town.

Rooms

This three-storey hotel features 280 air-conditioned guestrooms including 24 suites and 256 standard rooms. Rooms are decorated in bright shades of antique pink and green, with white floors and moroccan patterned linens. All rooms have air-conditioning and include TV and private safe, direct dial phone, radio and satellite TV including Eurosport, BBC World and CNN channels. Refrigerators are available on request.

Bathrooms include bathrobes and complimentary toiletries and the large furnished balconies all overlook the garden, swimming pool and sea.

Essaouira HOTEL

This modern hotel was built in 1948 by Antoine Marchisio (designer of the legendary Mamounia in Marrakesh) and combines the mauresque and retro styles of the period with all modern amenities. The hotel is located alongside the entrance to the Medina (old walled city) and faces directly onto Essaouira bay with its wide sandy beach and the Island of Mogador in the distance. With it's tasteful decor and personalized service, the hotel offers a haven of comfort and tranquility.

The was the hotel of choice for stars like Orson Welles. In 1949 he spent 8 months here filming his award-winning ‘Othello’ often using Essaouira, particularly the ramparts, as his backdrop. So, if you’re an incurable movie buff, have a drink in The Orson Welles Bar, replete with stills, letters and stars before sampling seafood specialities in the restaurant overlooking the sea.

The original wing of the hotel is comprised of 23 guest rooms located on 2 floors. All rooms were redecorated in 2002 and face either the bay and ocean or the hotel's private swimming pool and gardens.
Guestrooms have traditional style decor and all include balconies, tea and coffee making facilities and satellite television offering 8 international channels. All the rooms have ensuite bathrooms equipped with bathtub and shower.

The hotel in Safi is situated in the natuaral park at El Jadida and is close to the entertainment, shopping and commercial center of town. This modern hotel with its contemporary architecture is centered around the swimming pool and gardens.
