The United Mexican States Mexico (Spanish: México) is a country located in North America, bordered by the United States to the north, and Central America (specifically Belize and Guatemala) to the southeast. The country is often referred to by Mexicans as the Mexican Republic (República Mexicana) although this is not the officially recognized title.

Mexico's Pacific Coast has the type of waves you only dream about! You can travel over 2000 miles from the empty desert point breaks of Baja to the tropical barreling beach breaks of mainland Mexico. There are a variety of types of waves. The points are generally fun and playful and the beach breaks are generally powerful and hollow. At many beaches you will be surfing by yourself. Expect to get barreled. There are waves year round and giant swells can hit during any month. The summertime is known for consistent swell, wintertime is known for offshores and cleaner conditions throughout the day.
