Restaurants
There are plenty of great restaurants in and around Hossegor and we sincerly hope you'll get out there and experience the excellent French cuisine. However a few firm favourites worth a mention are listed below:
Dick's Sand Bar
Just off the beach in Hossegor you'll find Dick's sand bar which has the same vibe as any great ski resort bar. Tourists are in the minority and its the seasonal locals who give the place its energy. The hangout for surfers and wannabe surfers. You can also check your emails at a couple of 'pay as you surf' terminals.
Le Rock Food
Think of it as the Hard rock café for surfers. Surfing memorabilia line the walls and it's a great place for a chilled après-surf beer. Located on the main square (Place des Landais).
Seaside Restaurant
On av. de la Dune has a great eclectic menu with everything from Mexican food to Indonesian Nasi Goreng to fresh seafood. After the last diners leave the bar is open until about 2 am.
Chez Manu
In Capbreton for good French food at very reasonable prices.
