GUADELOUPE SURF SPOTS - THE DU MOULE AREA
The surf spots in and around Le Moule work all the year round, however swells are more consistent from September to November, when cyclonic depressions create powerful swells and from December to April with Northerly swells. Le Moule faces NE on a crescent shaped coastline and is the main surfers' hangout. This stretch of coast gets the best exposure to the swells and so produces the most consistent surf.

SURFING SPOTS IN THE THE DU MOULE AREA OF GRANDE TERRE

Surf spot: Damencourt (Du Moule area of Grand Terre)
Wave description: A 500m après Le Moule, le spot le plus connu de la Guadeloupe. Bonne gauche, puissante qui marche d'un petit mètre à 2,5 carton. La vague se surfe régulièrement car elle encaisse bien le vent d'Est quand l'alizé est là.
Bottom: Flat Coral reef
Skill level: Intermediate to advanced surfers.
Surf spot: la station (Du Moule area of Grand Terre)
Wave description: Juste à la sortie du Moule.
Droite sympa mais capricieuse qui ne marche que par swell bien Nord et pas trop gros. Attention à na pas s'aventurer trop loin après le pic car il n'y a plus d'eau.

Skill level: Intermediate to advanced surfers.
Surf spot: Waimea (Du Moule area of Grand Terre)
Wave description: Reef gauche.
Bottom: Flat Coral reef
Skill level: Experts only. Pour confirmés++, elle porte bien son nom : gros drop, gros tube, section massive et rapide
Conditions météo: Houles de nord-est
Surf spot: l'anse Salabouelle (Du Moule area of Grand Terre)
Wave description: Reef droite et gauche.
Skill level: Plutôt confirmés, surtout quand la houle grossit ; de très belles sections qui envoient surtout à marée basse.
Conditions météo: Houles de est à nord.
