The sleepy fishing village of “La Caleta de Famara” is located at the southern end of the Playa Famara. It has been a favourite base for surfers from all over the world for many years. It has a good vibe, laidback atmosphere and various tapas bars, restaurants, supermarkets and surf shops. It's a far cry away from mass toursim and will appeal to those who wish to kick back and enjoy the Canarian pace of life. Think J-Bay 20 years ago and you’ll get the picture.
Zoco has a good selection of privately owned apartments located in the village centrally located and a short walking distance to the main breaks and tapas bars/restaurants. Surfers on our longboarding clinics have a choice between staying in our standard apartments or upgrading to an apartment with a terrace. All properties are maintained to a good standard with spacious living areas, fully equipped kitchens, dining areas and bathrooms.
The majority of properties we use are owned by friends of the Zoco crew or local contacts and are exclusive to Zoco. The apartments are all within walking distance of the beach, reefs and local amenities.

Description: We have the best selection of private 1, 2 or 3 bedroom apartments in La Caleta de Famara. All our standard apartments are Canarian in design with whitewashed exterior walls and the traditional blue or green woodwork. They are basic but modern with fully equipped kitchens, bathrooms and bedrooms. They offer everything you need for a self catering surf trip at an unbeatable price.
The upgrade means you'll be guaranteed a private apartment with a terrace.
