GREENSEAT - CARBON NEUTRAL* FLIGHTS
Zoco supports the efforts made by GreenSeat, and ask you to do the same. We realize that surfers, windsurfers and kitesurfers all do far more travelling by air than your average person. The surf trip is an integral part of the boardriding lifestyle and this is why we encourage you to compensate for the emissions related to your flight by making yours a GreenSeat.
*Carbon neutral means that, for each flight, enough trees are planted to ensure that the net effect on the atmosphere is zero, or as close to it as possible.

VISAS, Travel and Health Insurance
European Union citizens can enter the Canary Islands with just their passport. No vaccinations are needed. Whilst there are reciprocal health agreements within the European Union a separate travel and health insurance should be considered essential. Please ensure your insurance covers your for dangerous sports especially surfing. We also recommend you bring a valid EHIC card.
Boards, Baggage and Dings
Most airlines will charge either a flat fee (e.g. Surfboard 45 Euros) or an excess baggage charge per kilo. Normally you have to pre-book equipment prior to departure. Make sure you check about bringing equipment when you book your ticket. Check your travel insurance for equipment cover whilst in transit. Don't forget to pack a ding repair kit. |
