Surf Clinics
for intermediate surfers
The main aim of a Surf Clinic is
to help you to perfect your style,
to correct any “bad habits” developed
over time and learn new surfing
techniques. Our instructors can
help you, for example, learn
how to “duck-dive” correctly
so you can easily get outback,
to manoeuvre correctly on the
face of the wave, to do “bottom
turns”, “cut-backs”, “floaters”, “re-entries”,
how to stall your board for tubes,
accelerate inside the tube and
much more…
As the Surf Experience is mobile
then surfers will also gain more
experience by surfing a wider
range of breaks that are not
as intimidating as the infamous
gnarly reef breaks in the north.
Surfaris for experienced surfers
We recomend the SURFARIS in Gran Canaria (North) from October till the end of March. Surfaris are not only for advanced surfers but also Intermediate surfers that wish to try for the first time one week of surfaris on diferent sandy beaches or even reef. There are plenty of reef spots in deep water that are not that dangerous to an intermediate surfer.

The surfaris are organized by the local team that run the San Felipe camp. The guides are all very good local surfers. They don't speak perfect English but know exactly how to ensure you go home with a fat smile on your face. This is a 100% pure surf experinece, so while surfaris officially start at 09:30 and end at 16:30, when surf's up you wont get back to camp until after sunset!
There are numerous surf spots in Gran Canaria, from beach breaks to reefs all with top quality waves. You guide will advise you on spots suitable for your ability and who knows, you may end up surfing the famous "El Fronton" peak (also recommended for body boarders).
