Nightlife
The Surfing accommodation is situated just off the beachfront in the heart of the city so close to all the nightlife. There are several bars, discos and pubs within walking distance. Just 5 minutes walk from the accommodation, near the auditorium you'll find the 'plaza de la música'. There are at least three places here that have music until around 6 a.m.
At IBEX 35 you can enjoy the music and sample the 13 international beers on offer. There are more great nightlife spots near the 'Parque Santa Catalina' which is approx. 15 minutes on foot anlong the beach promonade. For music lovers and party animals we recommend the Paraninfo. More info. on gigs and live music at the paraninfo can be found at: http://www.salaparaninfo.com/
Naturally there is also the old part of town to be discovered and there are busses all night long to and from the old town. For more info. just ask one of the team.
We also recommend you visit Gran Canaria at least once during the internacional Music Festival “Womad” (November) or the Carnaval of Las Palmas (February)! During these months there are free live-concerts and you'll experience some real south-american night life and culture.
