COSTA CALMA SURFING HOLIDAYS - SURFING COURSES & Coaching
The Costa Calma surf school's teaching program has been developed according to BSA (British
Surfing Association)
and ASI (Australian Surfing Association) standards and guidelines.
The lessons provide
a proven step-by-step
approach to surf coaching that help you progress safely and quickly. Our instructors
are BSA, ISA (or equivalent) qualified
with SLSA Lifeguard
certificates.
All our courses offer you the flexibility to develop at your own pace and are structured a way that is proven to give you the best results. All our coaching options include at least two sessions of video coaching.

Newbie or beginner surfers
This is an opportunity to learn how to surf in a safe and friendly environment with an experienced team of BSA qualified instructors offering all the help and guidance you need to help you become an independant surfer.

intermediate surfers
We offer clinics aimed at helping you to progress to your next personal level. The qualified coaches provide all the equipment and training you need to get you riding the wave along the open face and teach you the fundamentals, including turning in the correct parts of the wave and how to use the wave to maximise your rides.

Advanced surfers
We can asses your skills and offer you our professional advice to help make your surfing polished and consistent. We also study your wave riding by using video analysis, this way we are able to iron out any flaws and put you on the right track to help you hit the lip or carve the face like a pro.

INTENSIVE COACHING
Intensive coaching is available for surfers with intermediate to advanced skills. You will have two surf sessions a day and a total of 40 hours professional coaching + at least 4 video analysis sessions.

GUIDED SURFING FOR ALL SURFERS
This is guided surfing with one MAJOR difference - Our surf guiding holidays always include coaching aimed at your skill level, detailed video coaching and explanation of the surf spots you visit. Surf with a local guide who is also a qualified surf instructor and who will be able to offer you surf coaching for your level of ability and detailled video analysis WHILE you are on surfari!
