Corralejo is an established coastal town/resort located only a short drive from airport in the North of Fuerteventura. Although a popular tourist resort it still retains some of it's original charm/character and the beaches/dunes on the edge of town rival some of Europes finest.

All guests stay in our hanpicked studios/apartments on a small friendly tourist complex located in the popular harbour/marina area. The studios are great value for money and ideal for Single Travellers, Couples and Friends. We also have some more spacious apartments that will suit groups of friends or families.

The rugged and unspoilt coastline west of Corralejo offers a variety of surf breaks to suit all levels of surfers. The warm climate and consistent surf make it a great all year round surf destination. Winter is a good time to visit for bigger and more challenging waves.

Beginners and Improvers will benefit from surf lessons and intermediate surfers who can already ride green waves will benefit from the surf taxi option where you get to travel with the surf school to the beach breaks and surf safely on the same beach.

After a hard days surf you can chill on your terrace or watch the local surfers in action from the comfort of the onsite bar/restaurant. Once the sun sets you can head into Corralejo to sample the laid back Canarian apres surf nightlife!

This 3 star tourist complex which comprises of studios and apartments is located in the harbour/marina area of Corralejo within easy walking distance of surf, local amenities, the main town beachs and nightlife. The accommodation and on-site bar/restaurant is popular with travelling surfers and as a result has a great vibe and atmosphere. It has a good range of facilities and the onsite team will help make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.

Surf School & Surf Lessons

The Surf School was formed in 2004 by the owner of the already established and popular Windsurf and Kitesurf centre in Corralejo (founded in 1987). In 2010 the Surf School was awarded a certificate of excellence by the Canary Islands Government (Tourist Board) for providing a top quality “Water Sports Experience”.

The Surf Instructors are generally qualified via the British Surfing Association (or equivalent) and all have the necessary skills and patience to help you progress in a safe but fun enviroment at your own pace. The coaching is specifically aimed at those who have never surfed before or those who have already taken some some lessons but feel they need to improve further. Surfing is progressive and there is always something new to be experienced and learnt!

For safety reasons and to ensure you get the attention you need on dry land and in the water, the Surf Lessons have a low student to instructor ratio. All students are placed with an instructor who specialize in teaching at a particular level.

• Warm-up, Stretching and Specific body excercises
• Beach safety and Basic safety rules in the water
• Equipment choice according to your level: wetsuits, boards, accessories
• Prone position, Pop-up, Stance
• Paddling technique
• Take off technique
• Duck dive and other technique, to get out back through the whitewater
• Peaks, line-up and rip/currents dynamics
• Surf Etiquette and Priority rules
• Angled take offs, Riding (rights and lefts) Forehand and Backhand
• First turns, tricks and maneaouvres
• Surfboard shaping
• Weather and Surf forecasting

All the equipment used by the Surf School is specifically designed for beginners and intermediates with safety being the key factor.

Beginners will use softdeck boards specifically designed for both stability and safety. Intermediates will use Epoxy boards which provide a good blend of stability, manouverability and performance. The instructors will select a board suitable for your size, weight and ability.
