The art of surfing for Newbies & Beginners
Surfing is not easy to learn and you will always have room to improve, however we are confident that with the combination of the warm waters, our excellent surf material and the efforts of our instructors you will learn how to ride waves before you leave Itacaré. To achieve this our first concern is to help you understand the ocean its tides, currents, rips and cycles, to help you with the right positioning, distances and timing to handle your board. With these skills in place learning to stand on your board is a natural progression. Once you have no problem judging or paddling into waves and you can 'take-off' and ride waves to the beach, you can start learning the vital skills every surfer has to learn: How to manoeuvre your board.
Surf lessons in Brazil
You will receive 4 hours of surfing lessons per day and learn both the theory and practical aspects of surfing. Our instructors have over 10 years experience teaching people how to surf and look forward to helping you discover the addiction of a lifetime.
New in 2008!
From January 2008 we will be offering 2 levels of surf courses in Brazil. A basic course will now be offered along with our intensive clinic. The rest of the package is identical.

Your 1 week "Basic Training" Surfing Holiday Includes:
• 7 nights Pousada ccommodation (private bathroom, AC, fridge, TV, balcony)
• Typical Brazilian breakfast with tropical fruit juices
• 6 days (4 hours per day) full surf course (Mon. to Sat.)
• Return airport transfers (Ilhéus-Itacaré, return)
• All surfing equipment during surf classes (board, rashvest, leash...)
• Daily transfers by car/boat to the best surfing spots and beaches
• Photo session both in the water and with telephoto lens (every Saturday)
Your 1 week "INTENSIVE CLINIC " Surfing Holiday Includes:

• Permanent video control during all surf courses from (Mon. to Fri.)

DATES & AVAILABILITY
The Itacaré Surf Camp is open all year round but places are subject to availability.
The Christmas & New Year period (December 25th - January 6th) as well as the Carnaval period (1st - 10th February) are fully booked up to a year in advance. Places are extremely limited and are offered on a 'first-come-first-served' basis.
