KITE RECOMMENDATIONS
Beginner kitesurfers - The kite size you will require will generally be determined by your weight - a person weighing - 80 - 90 kg will probably need a 12 or a 14 m kite. Lighter than 70 kg's a 10 m and over 90 kg's a 16 m. NB. This is a rough guide, factors like location, wind speed and board experience all influence the size.
Intermediate/Experienced/pro kitesurfers - Winds range from 13 - 18 knots (4 Bft ) so 14,15 and 16m kites should be fine. However you do get the odd 20+ (4-5 Bft) days when the wind is heavier so you could go down to a 13 and if it really blasts a 9m kite.
