LEARN TO KITESURF IN SAL - CAPE VERDE (CABO VERDE) ISLANDS

The Cape Verde Kitesurfing Experience is the perfect holiday for those of you who have never been kitesurfing before and want to learn the basics. This is a full 10 hour beginner package and covers everything you need to know to give you a thorough introduction to kitesurfing including beach training, kite flying and board work.

Kiteboarding Safety
Natural ability, fitness, practise all these factors influence the speed at which we learn to kitesurf & everyone learns at a different pace. This is why groups are kept really small and for safety reasons we cannot allow you to rent equipment until your ability has been assessed. Once you've completed the beginner course and your ability has been assessed by a qualified instructor, you can either rent equipment or continue your lessons with an intermediate course.

The Kitesurfing Courses
The kitesurfing instructors and coaches at the Cape Verde Kitesurfing Academy can teach you how to kitesurf or give you professional advice and tips on improving your style. There are several different kitesurfing courses available depending on your level of ability: Newbies/Beginners, Intermediates or Advanced/Experienced. After each course you will be assessed on what you've been taught to ensure that you have understood and can perform the things you have learnt.

The Accommodation
There is a range of accommodation available for Kitesurfers in Sal, something to suit all tastes and pockets. Beachfront apartments, apartments with pool and private beach, beachfron hotel... The Beginners kitesurfing holidays in Sal run all year round and places are subject to availability.

This coast receives swell and wind all year round and is known for its consistent surf and wind however for advanced and experienced Kitesurfers we recommend the period from November to June.
