KITESURFING EQUIPMENT RENTAL IN SAL - CAPE VERDE (CABO VERDE)

If you are a seasoned kiteboarder and you only require equipment rental then we can offer you just that.

Pre-booking of equipment, especially in high season, is recommended. The Cape Verde Kitesurfing Academy stock the following equipment:
Kites: A variety of Kites from 2 lines to 5 lines for both teaching as well as rentals.
• F1: teaching and advanced kites and boards
• Naish Kites: Shock Wave, Raven, Torch, Boxer SLE, X1 - (approx 40 kites)
• Naish Boards: Sol, Haze (all sizes)- (approx 20 boards)

KITESURFING/WINDSURFING COMBINED RENTAL

Windsurfing reserved board + sail pool
Kitesurfing reserved board + kite pool
This combo rental package is intended for people who can already kite and windsurf. All the rental equipment comes with kite/sail, boards, bar/boom, and harness. Lycra's are not included-but can be bought direct from the center. While wetsuits and helmets are available from time to time, we recommend you bring your own as the stock at the center is reserved primarily for the lessons.

In order to rent equipment you will be asked a series of questions and will need to demonstrate a suitable level of ability.

Equipment can be taken away from the center to other locations depending on your level of ability. Most kitesurfers go to Cabsa Salina's with their rented kites and that is fine. However it is important to bear in mind that your insurance only covers you in the bay and is not valid at other locations.

Recue cover for rentals is 25 euros per rescue.

Remember is is vital to pre-book if you want to be guaranteed a specific board, kite, sail, surfboard etc. However you are more than welcome to swap and change equipment throughout the week. Boards and sails or boards and kites can be changed as desired.

Kitesurfing comprehensive insurance cover

Insurance against loss of, or damage to, rental equipment. Without comprehensive insurance coverage the client is liable to be charged for damage, breakage and loss of equipment. Repairs and replacement materials will be charged at cost price.
