El MÉdano hotel

Situated in the centre of town overlooking the main beach, the El Médano Hotel is a beautifully maintained three star hotel, providing the perfect retreat of comfort and relaxation after a day on the water.

The hotel features 91 well-appointed guest rooms, all clean and comfortable. The swimming pool overlooks the sea and the private (500 square meters) sundeck is literally built over the sea. The sundeck has direct access to the crystal clear water.

With half-board catering included in the price, and being only a short five-minute walk from the centre, the El medano Hotel is a popular choice for many.

South beach hotel - Tenerife

Located just next to the sandy beach of South Bay. The South Beach Hotel borders on the Montaña Roja Natural Park, a natural oasis for people who want to spend their holidays away from the usual tourist traps.

The idyllic location of this hotel offers guests a peaceful and relaxing holiday. It is spread over 4 floors and comprises 75 rooms of which 4 are elegant suites. Guests are welcomed in the inviting lobby with a reception desk open 24 hours, currency exchange desk, lifts, a games room and a TV room. Special features of this hotel include a cosy bar and a restaurant, which serve local cuisine. Laundry and room service are also available. For guests arriving by car, there is car parking offered outside the hotel.

The hotel and garden were modified and designed by the well-known Spanish artist César Manrique. The rooms all have balconies with sea view and were reconditioned in 2003.

The South beach Hotel is a 3 star, family hotel offering accommodation with a personal touch. Buffet style breakfast is included in the price & with its location right by the kitesurfing Centre, you are sure to not miss any of the action.

For sports lovers, El Médano is an internationally-known name of high-prestige in the world of kitesurfing & windsurfing, with both national and international competitions held off its beaches. Other sports activities on offer nearby include: golf (20km away), hill-walking/orienteering (in the area), and SCUBA diving (15km away). Beaches

Near El Médano, there are also other beaches where you can soak up the sun in total peace without being surrounded by crowds of people. The beach at ‘La Tejita’ is one of the few, genuinely natural beaches on the island, scarcely visited by tourists at all, as it lies within the natural shelter of ‘Montaña Roja’ (the red mountain). If you feel the need to be surrounded by other holiday makers, you're just a 20km drive from the beaches at Los Cristianos and Playa Las Americas.
