to your next personal level at your own pace. The instructors will
guide you, giving you professional tips and helping you

There are two levels of clinics available:
• The Intermediate clinic - for kiteboarders with IKO level 1-2 (or similar)
• The Advanced clinic - for kiteboarders with IKO level 2-3+ (or similar)
The clinics usually run during the summer months (May to September)
as this is when the trade
winds kick in and you
have winds of 4 Bft
and more blowing day
in, day out. This is
also the period when
sea tends to be flatter,
during the winter months
the sea can become
too choppy and although
the wind might be good
compared to other European spots, it cannot be guaranteed. The courses run
on
a continual basis with
groups of not more
than 6 people
per course.
There are two options for your Tenerife kitesurfing accommodation:
El Médano Hotel
A 3 star hotel situated in the centre of town overlooking the main beach and a short five-minute walk from the centre. More info >

Located at the end of South Bay, right next to the kite centre, this hotel is a family run business offering accommodation with a personal touch. More info >

WHO's it for & WHEN IS THE BEST TIME TO COME?
Kitesurfing Clinics can be arranged for small groups, families, friends or if you prefer to travel alone you can join an existing group. People wanting to accompany a friend or partner but not participate in the kitesurfing course are also welcome.
The clinics run from the beginning of April to the end of October, however, the best months for kitesurfing
are May to September. This is
when the sea tends to be flat and
the wind consistent. During the
winter months the sea can become
too choppy and although the wind
might be good on the occasional
day it cannot be guaranteed.

The Kiteboarding Academy in Lanzarote is located in La
Caleta de Famara and all Kiteboarding sessions take place
on
the beach of Playa Famara.
