KITESURFING CLINICS
The kitesurfing clinic programme has been developed according to the AEK - Asociación Española de Kite (Spanish Kiteboarding Association) standards and guidelines. The lessons provide a proven step-by-step approach to improve your kitesurfing safely and quickly. The kitesurf school is a recognized AEK center. KITEBOARDING CLINIC FOR INTERMEDIATE KITEBOARDERS
By the end of the intermediate program, you will get up on the board for your first ride. During the course, you will improve kite piloting with power, one hand kite piloting, body dragging unhooked and hooked in to your harness. Perfect for kiters who wish to practice a few times per year and rent equipment during holidays.
ENTRY REQUIREMENT
Kiteboarder level 1-2 or equivalent skill level.
GOAL
• Take your kiteboarding to the next level
• Ability to rent equipment and practice under supervision
• Access to the advanced clinic program
COURSE LOCATION
La Tejita lies just outside the village and is separated from the south bay by the large mountain, Montaña Roja. La Tejita is a long sandy beach ideal for tuiton and is location for all the clinics. At the upper end of the beach the wind is slightly offshore however the beach curves round as you progress down the coast ensuring it is cross shore before you run out of space.
La Tejita normally offers flat water conditions ideal for practising and there is rescue cover on hand during all clinics and most afternoons. Please check with the Kite centre staff before riding at La Tejita outside of a structured course so they can ensure there is adequate cover on hand should you need it.
KITEBOARDING CLINIC FOR ADVANCED KITEBOARDERS
You will be able to ride upwind and do your first jump! During this program, you will learn how to manage your practice area and to choose your equipment. Your kite flying skills will be improved and you will learn how to control your direction and power, and come back to your starting point. You will be able to fly more powerful kites. You will be use a twin tip, mutant or a smaller directional board.
ENTRY REQUIREMENT
Kiteboarder level 2-3 or equivalent skill level.
GOAL
• Get your level certified up to level 3+
• Become a fully independent kiteboarder
• Buy your own equipment
• Become an assistant instructor.

Private Lessons (1 hour)

- basics
- waterstart
- controlled riding
- stay upwind/going upwind
- jumping
ENTRY REQUIREMENT
No Experience is required but you need to be able to swim 50 meters in open water.
DURATION
1 Hour session
GOAL
The goal of the kiteboarding clinics are to help you advance
to your next personal level at your own pace. The instructors will
guide you, giving you professional tips and helping you
achieve your kiteboarding goals.

The Tenerife Kitesurfing Centre stocks the latest equipment from all the major kiteboarding brands, featuring the most popular kites from their ranges, all in the sizes most applicable to the wind conditions found in Tenerife.
Whether it's the latest generation freestyle C shape you want to test, the newest hybrids or the ever popular bow concept you are sure to find and enjoy some equipment you already know and love and discover some new personal favorites from the range we offer. You can pre-book your gear and have access to all the differnt boards and kites available at the centre. The centre is open from 9 am to 5:30 pm daily.
