THE WIND AND SURF
The coast of Mozambique is a kitesurfer's paradise. There are no crowds and waves going off everywhere. In the South there are lots and lots of spots to kite and these are only accessible by 4x4. Ponta do Ouro, Is an excellent point break with a flat inside section.
The water temperature is warm all year round, so the most you are going to need is a spring suit. On hot days in summer and winter you will be quite comfortable kitesurfing in boardshorts and a rashie.
SEASONS
Tours operate from May through to August. The most consistent wind is to be found during the Cyclone season from December to April when you can expect a consistant 12-18 knots with the odd 20+ day.
