Biggest, Best, Oldest, Most established...
...Yeah, yeah, whatever! Zoco Boardriding is not the biggest or the oldest and we will hopefully NEVER be established. We will never wear suits (other than a wetsuit) and we will always only offer the kind of holidays we'd wanna go on ourselves: tried and tested boardriding holidays that kick ass, at a lot less dinero than our competitors. That's why you should FUEL your addiction with Zoco.
FUTURE FUEL
Finally, another edition of FUEL! What can we say, we've been working harder, travelling more, surfing more, kiting more... From here on in we'll be sending you 6 editions of FUEL per year instead of 12 and will keep you posted on all the latest developments, special offers, job opportunities and competitions. Hope you enjoy this special Morocco edition of FUEL.

The Kingdom of Morocco
The Zoco crew have just returned from an exhaustive tour of Morocco and once again we made the most of our time over there. We want to thank all the people we met for their generous hospitality, guiding us to the best spots (both in and out of the water) the incredible food, friendship and laughter. Thanks largely to your time and efforts we now have a Zoco Boardriding Academy in just about every surf, kite and windsurf location in the country!
Special thanks to: Younes for the inside info and grand surf tour of Central Morocco, Tarik (the Safi big wave charger) for sharing his knowledge and intoducing us to Kefta ;-), Mourad & Chris for the great food and the lowdown on Taghazout, Hicham for showing us the highs and lows of life in Essaouira, Catie for your incredible local knowledge of wind and kite spots and patience while we were taking photos ;-). The local surfers who we shared waves and laughs with, the surf, wind & kite instructors who gave up so much of their time for us and finally to all those we met along the way, the berbers who helped and encouraged us when we were hopelessly lost in the mountains at night, the friendly policeman who helped us find a diesel pump in the middle of nowhere... The list is endless.
إن شاء الله (Insha'Allah) we'll be back soon,
The Zoco Crew. |

SURFING HOLIDAYS IN MOROCCO
Al-Mamlaka, al-Maghrebia, المملكة المغربية, Marokko, Morocco, Maroc, Marokkó, Marocco, Marrocos, Marrueco or Marocko, whatever you call it... Morocco is the ultimate winter getaway for European surfers following the sun.
The right hand point breaks in Morocco have to be seen to be believed. We all know that as surfers we tend to exaggerate (a little) when relating our surf adventures but this is one country where there is no need for exaggeration, there are endless walling, tubing, spitting right handers that fire for weeks at a time and deliver some of the longest rides and tubes imaginable. The coastline around the Agadir area is riddled with spots. If you are struggling to get waves in a crowded lineup move a few hundred feet up or down the coast and you'll find good quality empty waves. If you don't find an empty, good quality wave to surf here, you are either blind or lazy or both.
