PENICHE SURF CAMP
Hey Vicky,
Just a quick mail to say we had an amazing time at the Peniche Surf camp. We we're welcomed with a massive BBQ of fresh sardines, salad and plenty of sangria even though it was late and Silvano and the rest of the instructors really got my skills up to scratch and got my two beginner mates up and riding by the third day.
The accommodation right next to the camp and over looking the beach was very comfortable and had more facilities than we had time to make use of. The area has a really good vibe with really friendly people, a few good bars (Prahana, Cocktail) and then ending the evening in Brunos till dawn before catching some shut eye ready for the next days surf. Have to say it's so cheap, especially bargain that is Gaucho's Brazilian steak bar, where for 3 hungry carnivores after a full days surf, paying £40 for starters, 3 massive steaks, wine, coffee and dessert is unbelievable value!
With the festivals of Peniche and Ferrel going on the area was very busy but not oppressive and we had the chance to experience accordion playing to a laser show and fireworks - something you don't see every day :o)
Only mishap we had was the toll roads where we went through the wrong lanes going there and got charged the steep 38 euro fine coming back at 3am because we went through the wrong lane again and didn't get a ticket - d'oh.
Thanks for helping me organise, I would definitely go back.

SAGRES SURF CAMP
Hi Vicky.
Sagres was great. I had a lot of fun. The Surf camp was really great, too. The instructers were really good and all the people were so sweet. The surf was really good that week and my body got a good week of exercise. (And a bunch of scratches, bluemarks and mosqito bites:))
Everybody should try this once. I will probably do this again next year if my paycheck allows me to.

CORTEGAÇA SURF CAMP
dear vicky,
thanks a lot for your help organising my holiday at the cortegaca camp in portugal, i had a wonderful time there! the camp, miguel and his team, the location, just everything was brilliant, relaxed and fun. i can highly recommend it and i will defently go back there next year!
it was one of my best holidays ever

The surf day was amazing and everyone had a wicked time.
Please pass on our regards to Victor and Tony. They were ace instructors. Please let them know how much we enjoyed the day and keep in touch with any offers that you have going at your schools. I know i'm hooked because even though we're all a little stiff, I want to go surfing again as soon as I can.
Thanks for all being so helpful and easy going. Fantastic birthday present. One I won't forget.

LANZAROTE STUDENT SURF CLUB TRIPS

This is the picture of me on my 19th birthday, i think its a fair effort for kook of the month, one of my most uncool moments, just dont look at it too closely, its pretty minging!
look forward to hearing from you soon, hope you have a happy new year, i had an amazing time and you'll definatley be hearing from me and the guys again, either to stay in your apartments at the end of playa de famara or maybe to come on your portugal road trip!

Hey Zoco team,
About time I got this down on e-paper!
What amazing time the Bath Surf Trip was! At first – scared witless – my uber organised sister organising everyone… (A scary sight) – Tons of new people to meet and the prospect of some decent waves cracking right over my head!
Day one – the surf instructors were ace, humour and safety mixed – who knew it could be done! Mal was great, I got so many tips and my board riding improved loads, my pop up became a popup – not a get-up! The rest of the week…. Well… it just went so fast! I can’t recommend these people more! Loony, sun addled, amazing people they are – the organisation was fab, the food and provisions – far more than expected and the care they took of everyone was exceptional! I am for sure coming back – and don’t worry Mark – you can cope with 500!

SURFING SPAIN
LOREDO SURF SCHOOL
Hello Vicky,
This is Les with a very long overdue e-mail and huge thank you, you were so helpful to me and as a result everything breezed along fantasticaly well, the guys were enthralled with the trip and are all very surf aware as a result and will undertake other trips as a result.
On a personal note I did stay with Lara and Martin in Hossegor*, what a perfectly chilled place and the hosts were amazingly welcoming as were the other guests staying there, isn't this just a fantastic sport and way of life? I did get to see all the top surfers at both Hossegor and Mundaka, even got some photos where I'm standing with Kelly and Irons (attached)**.
The surf school at Loredo was exceptional for both quality and location with the cost also great value. Mario is a truly great guy who loves his job and way of life, he was willing to do all he could to enhance our stay there, we even had the privilige of assistance from a Spanish surfing legend in those parts, his dad!
The weather was perfect for us and we all came back with a tan. Once again Vicky a very big thank you. Do you have information on your Lanzarote set up, or do you venture to Morrocco, I intend to take a lot of time off over the winter and would like to travel some, Ive saved up lots of Brownie points with my wife.

KITESURFING SOUTH AFRICA
VULAMANZI BASE CAMP
Hi Paul,
Gilly and I had a fantastic time thanks, but true to form, managed to get the wettest, least windy weekend of the year… so much for getting away from the Cape Winter for a sunny weekend in 25 degree water - attached though, are some pics we took of the accommodation and the beach.
Vulamanzi itself is fantastic for a getaway. The accommodation is as advertised, luxury backpacker, with really nice wooden rooms/flats/huts on raised stilts as shown in the pictures. Beach looks great and I can imagine provides wonderful kiting when the wind blows L. The surf is also amazing, so if people surf, they’d have the best of both worlds regardless of the weather.
As for price, I guess I don’t need to say much – probably couldn’t get better value for money anywhere in the world? Kim and Ali are great hosts although we didn’t see that much of them.
Got away from work and unwound for a few days – a badly needed process. As a road trip, I can highly recommend the route and the beaches that we stopped at – Anyone wanting to experience a range of beaches and countryside in South Africa could replicate the route and go from developed to very rural and back again in a few short drives.
Wish I had more time for a full story, but now that I’m back in the saddle, the usual pressure comes along with it!
Thanks very much for the fantastic service – I’ve been tremendously impressed and will recommend Zoco to anyone that crosses my path. Please feel free to use me as a reference at any time.

KITESURFING HOLIDAYS IN LA GRACIOSA
Hi Vicky,
Just want to say thanks for all your help in getting me to La Graciosa. Had a brilliant time. Lessons were excellent and as for Stella's cooking, well what can I say, it should be awarded a 5 star award! I'll definatly be recommending La Graciosa to friends and will put a notice up on the irish kite surfing website directing them to Zoco.
