The Lowdown
The El Palmar Surf School is based in El Palmar & Conil de la Frontera on the Costa de la Luz (Southern Spain's Atlantic Ocean Coastline). The surf school is perfectly located for enjoying the warm weather (Andalucia gets 3000 hours of sunshine per year and even in mid winter weeks can go by without a single cloud in the sky!) The Lowdown
The Cape Verde Boardriding Center, in the island of Sal, is located south of Santa Maria about 50 meters from the water. The aim of the multi-adventure surfing + kitesurfing or windsurfing holidays are to give surfers a safe and fun introduction to either windsurfing or kitesurfing and to allow you the flexibility to surf when the swells are good and windsurf or kitesurf when the wind kicks in or the swell drops. Many experienced surfers going over to Cape verde have had a go at learning either kitesurfing or windsurfing while over in the islands fuelling their primary addiction.
who's it for
The surfing + Kitesurfing or windsurfing multi-activity holidays in Sal are open to boardriders of every ability. This coast receives swell and wind all year round and is known for its consistent surf and wind however for advanced and experienced surfers we recommend the period from September to April (October to March being the best months) & for kite or windsurfers from November to June.
